Chiropractic Adjustments

A chiropractic adjustment is a hands-on technique in which a gentle, targeted thrust is applied to the specific joints involved, opening up the joint space and creating adequate room for the nerves and blood vessels to flow freely. It's the core of chiropractic care — and at our Jerusalem clinic it's always preceded by a proper examination and explained before it happens.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the popping sound during an adjustment?

The pop is gas being released inside the joint's lubricating fluid as pressure changes — a process called cavitation. It is not bones cracking or grinding. The sound also isn't a measure of success: some effective, low-force techniques we use make no sound at all.

Does an adjustment hurt?

Most patients feel pressure and a quick stretch, not pain, and many feel looser immediately. Mild soreness for 24–48 hours afterwards — similar to after exercise — is common and normal. Tell your doctor about any discomfort; we can always switch to a gentler technique.

Will I have to keep coming forever?

No. Treatment plans at our clinic are designed to be finite: we treat the problem, give you exercises to keep the results, and discharge you. Some patients choose occasional maintenance visits afterwards — that is always your call, never a requirement.

Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor in Israel?

No referral is needed to book with us — you can contact us directly by WhatsApp or phone, and we'll find you an appointment, usually within the same week.

Ready to move freely again?

Same-week appointments in the German Colony — in English, Hebrew, or French.
