Frequently Asked Questions

Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?

Yes — the Webster Technique is specifically designed for pregnancy: it is gentle and precise, with no forceful twisting, and we adapt positioning so you're always comfortable and supported. Care is appropriate in every trimester, and many midwives and doulas refer their clients for it.

Can the Webster Technique turn a breech baby?

No — and any clinic that promises that is overclaiming. Webster doesn't turn babies. It addresses pelvic balance and ligament tension, which may help create more space for your baby to move into the best position naturally. If your baby is breech, we work alongside — never instead of — your midwife or obstetrician.

When in pregnancy should I start, and how often should I come?

You can start in any trimester — many women come in the first trimester for comfort, others only in the final weeks. Frequency depends on your symptoms and stage; after your first assessment we'll suggest a schedule and adjust it as your pregnancy progresses.

Can I keep coming after the birth?

Yes. Postpartum bodies work hard — feeding positions, carrying, and pelvic recovery all load the spine. Many mothers continue occasional care after birth, and our doctors also treat infants and children with appropriately gentle, low-force techniques.
